Dália V. Rêgo<br />
Born in Lisbon, Dália V. Rêgo has<br />
been a teacher for more than<br />
thirty years. She studied decorative<br />
art and, in order to consolidate<br />
her practical skills with a deeper<br />
knowledge <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> art <strong>of</strong> painting,<br />
she has since completed a painting<br />
course at <strong>the</strong> Sociedade Nacional<br />
de Belas <strong>Art</strong>es in Lisbon,<br />
Taking <strong>the</strong> various sensations she<br />
experiences, she interprets <strong>the</strong>m<br />
onto <strong>the</strong> canvas through coloured<br />
abstractions that suggest harmony<br />
and equilibrium. Dália interprets<br />
movement and everyday objects<br />
and <strong>the</strong>ir relationship to each<br />
o<strong>the</strong>r; she imbues <strong>the</strong>m with <strong>the</strong><br />
colour and form suggested to her<br />
by <strong>the</strong> impressions <strong>the</strong>y make in<br />
her considerations <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m.<br />
