Henrik Brondsted<br />

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Henrik Brondsted bought his first Leica M3 at <strong>the</strong> age <strong>of</strong><br />
15 and got a commission <strong>of</strong> three portraits.<br />
Henrik explores <strong>the</strong> human face to get beyond <strong>the</strong> surface\and his pictures can be<br />
described as poetic realism<br />
taking inspiration from <strong>the</strong> french filmtradition <strong>of</strong> Marcel Carné and Nouvelle Vague.\<br />
Henrik has been a teacher at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Copenhagen\lecturing in visual media. He<br />
has received a gold medal in an international photo competition for best black and white<br />
portrait.<br />
