“It took me a while to figure how to create<br />
a Wizard of Oz painting that didn’t repeat<br />
what was already out there. I wanted to focus<br />
on the landscape rather than the characters.”<br />

“This started out as just playing around<br />
with simple, abstract forms. I had the Blade<br />
Runner soundtrack playing while I was<br />
painting, and I think somehow it got into<br />
my imaginary world.”<br />

“This started out as a more complex scene, but then<br />
I decided to focus on the contrast between the human<br />
characters and their alien environment. This is a little<br />
space girl getting ready to start school.”<br />
