I am pleased to inform you that your application for <strong>Marine</strong> officer<br />
training has been reviewed and forwarded to Headquarters, U.S. <strong>Marine</strong><br />
<strong>Corps</strong> for determination of your physical qualifications by the<br />
Commander, Naval Medical Command, and final consideration by the<br />
Officer Candidate Selection Board. It is the responsibility of this<br />
board to select only the most highly qualified applicants to fill a<br />
limited number of vacancies.<br />
The Commandant of the <strong>Marine</strong> <strong>Corps</strong> (CMC) will inform you of the final<br />
action taken on your application. *You are cautioned to avoid<br />
personal commitments such as sale of property, termination of employment,<br />
relocation of dependents, or other matters of a similar nature,<br />
until you are notified of the results of final consideration by the<br />
CMC.<br />
**Upon completion of requirements for a degree, immediately forward<br />
evidence thereof to the officer selection officer (OSO) who enrolled<br />
you in your officer training program.<br />
In the event you incur injury which might preclude you from participation<br />
in or disqualify you for off icer training; or an illness<br />
preventing your reporting to active duty, notify your OSO immediately.<br />
You are reminded that your OSO must be informed immediately of any<br />
change of address.<br />
