TIME TO READ - HITTING THE JACKPOT
In addition to my friend in need, I realized that other people
even in my family also needed some help. A cousin of mine, a
college student in Medellin, called me; he wanted me to give
him some money to pay his tuition fee. I really meant to give
them all a hand, and I knew I was going to be able to do it. I
asked my cousin to pray for me because I was certain that with
the Almighty´s grace things would be better in no time.
Later on, it was clear (to me) that all these events were somehow
connected. I had been reading a very uplifting book
by Joseph Murphy, The Power of your Subconscious Mind. I
had not bought or borrowed that book, but it was there on a
bookshelf in the den of my home. The first time I opened the
book I couldn´t put it down, perhaps because I was fascinated
to find in one book many of the things I had intuitively believed.
On a cold April morning, as the clock struck 8 a.m., I looked
my wife in the eyes, with the heart filled with immeasurable
faith, and said, “I know how we are going to get out of this. I
will hit the jackpot.” My wife smiled but wasn´t sure what I was
talking about. At that moment, I had no clue how I would get
the winning number but something extraordinary was already
in motion.
I remember that a few days before Holy Week I prayed and
asked the Lord for guidance. It was on the night of Palm Sunday
that I fell into a deep sleep, having a moment of clairvoyance. As
I was dreaming, I could vividly see four numbers to be played:
1220. I also saw how much I would have to bet, and the people
I was going to help.
On Monday morning, I went to one of the “Paga Todo” places
in the neighborhood. I had not played lottery (chance) in years.
I started by getting reacquainted with the many lottery choices.
