• By May 30, 2008, the percentage <strong>of</strong> independent pharmacies<br />
in <strong>Health</strong>y County that voluntarily decide not to sell tobacco will increase<br />
from three (1998 baseline) to 15.<br />
• By January 30, 2008, the Progressive County Medical Society and<br />
<strong>California</strong> Pharmacists Association will adopt resolutions asking all<br />
pharmacies and drug stores to cease the sale <strong>of</strong> tobacco products.<br />
• By June 30, 2010, at least 25 <strong>of</strong> 30 independent and chain<br />
pharmacy stores in low-income neighborhoods in three cities <strong>of</strong><br />
Americano County will adopt and implement a policy against carrying<br />
tobacco products.
