PURPOSE<br />

<strong>MOPEX</strong> User’s <strong>Guide</strong><br />

This module allows the user to direct <strong>MOPEX</strong> to divide the detector array into a number of<br />

sectors and generate a separate PRF file for each. The array positions are given in the input<br />

PRF Map table specified with the input keyword PRF Map Filename.<br />

INPUTS<br />

PRF Map Filename: The name of the PRF Map file specifying the spatial areas of the array,<br />

and matching a PRF file to each section. See §8.7 for the format of the PRF Map table.<br />

COMMAND LINE INPUT<br />

In Global Parameters:<br />

PRFMAP_FILE_NAME = ch1_prfmap.tbl<br />

OUTPUTS<br />

PRF#? Generated FITS Files (img_i_j.fits): The postage stamps corresponding to the point<br />

sources within each region. These files are given the name img_i_j.fits, corresponding to the<br />

i th point source in the j th image in the input stack.<br />

about the syntax of the PRF map.<br />
