REVEREND STEPHEN C. FOLEY: [West Hartford, CT] I’ll<br />

pull a s~itch on you. Rank has privilege. I have almost 25 years<br />

here as chaplain and I am going to designate Charlie Chalk to<br />

give the invocation. Come on, Charlie.<br />

[Applause]<br />

REVEREND CHARLES L. CHALK: [Merrimack, NH] I just<br />

want to make sure I get my full money’s worth.<br />

Our heavenly Father, we thank You for the time we have this<br />

evening. We thank You for this <strong>Association</strong> for these 70 years.<br />

We pray in the future. We know as long as You remain in<br />

central, hopeful feature <strong>of</strong> this organization, it will continue to<br />

be a great and powerful organization. We thank you for all who<br />

come tonight to gather together to help us have a wonderful<br />

time. And bless our food and bodies in Jesus’ name. Amen.<br />

DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF DAVISON: Thank you, Reverend<br />

Chalk. I’m certainly happy to be surrounded by these good<br />

brothers. If you will remain standing please for the national<br />

anthem. And the national anthem this evening is going to be<br />

sung by Chief John Jenkins <strong>of</strong> West Barnstable, Massachusetts.<br />

DEPUTY CHIEF DAVISON: Thank you so much, Chief<br />

Jenkins. Will you honor us please, with leading us in the pledge<br />

to the flag.<br />
