Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, wives, chiefs, and honored
guests. Reverend Goble is sick and not able to be here tonight.
We would like to thank the Federated Church for allowing us to
use this facility in holding our Memorial Service again. We also
wish Reverend Goble the best and get well soon.
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Sturbridge
Color Guard.
CHIEF LEONARD E. SENECAL: [Sturbridge, MA] Good
evening. On behalf of myself, my wife Cindy, and the Town of
Sturbridge, I would like to welcome everyone here for the 70th
Annual New England Association of Fire Chiefs Conference. It
has been my pleasure once again to be your host chief on the
fourth and final year in the Town of Sturbridge. I hope you have
all enjoyed our town and that this proves to be our most
memorable. We’ve met new friends and old friends along the
way and cherish these moments forever. So everybody relax,
enjoy, and be happy. Thank you very much.
REVEREND CHALK: Thank you, Chief. You will join with
me in the call to worship that is found in your pamphlet for the
