Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, wives, chiefs, and honored<br />

guests. Reverend Goble is sick and not able to be here tonight.<br />

We would like to thank the Federated Church for allowing us to<br />

use this facility in holding our Memorial Service again. We also<br />

wish Reverend Goble the best and get well soon.<br />

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Sturbridge<br />

Color Guard.<br />

CHIEF LEONARD E. SENECAL: [Sturbridge, MA] Good<br />

evening. On behalf <strong>of</strong> myself, my wife Cindy, and the Town <strong>of</strong><br />

Sturbridge, I would like to welcome everyone here for the <strong>70th</strong><br />

<strong>Annual</strong> <strong>New</strong> <strong>England</strong> <strong>Association</strong> <strong>of</strong> Fire Chiefs <strong>Conference</strong>. It<br />

has been my pleasure once again to be your host chief on the<br />

fourth and final year in the Town <strong>of</strong> Sturbridge. I hope you have<br />

all enjoyed our town and that this proves to be our most<br />

memorable. We’ve met new friends and old friends along the<br />

way and cherish these moments forever. So everybody relax,<br />

enjoy, and be happy. Thank you very much.<br />

REVEREND CHALK: Thank you, Chief. You will join with<br />

me in the call to worship that is found in your pamphlet for the<br />

evening.<br />

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His kindness endures<br />
