A prayer, religion has no place in politics. Up there we say,
"You pray your way, I’ll pray mine." Let’s not interfere with
each other. The problem we have today is we argue religion so
much that we don’t have time to practice. Spare the rod and you
do spoil the child, but it’s a fishing rod. Take them young folks
out there fishing. Let me hear some good rock music, clear,
crystal waters over the boulders at the head of the pool. And it’s
not my country right or wrong. We’ve got to continue to have a
great country, therefore, we must always try to right the
wrongs.
