your ability to plan, design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot internetworks. In Switching Basics and
Intermediate Routing CCNA 3, you have learned many new skills. Now it is time to apply what you have
learned to comprehensive skills-based assessments. Because your CCNA 3 coursework is divided into
routing and switching, this appendix includes a skills-based assessment for routing and a skills-based
assessment for switching. Then, you will combine skills from both routing and switching in the CCNA 3
comprehensive skills-based assessment.

Objectives

Equipment
The topology shown in Figure D-1 is using 2600 series routers. However, you can use any router series
that supports OSPF, including the 1700 and 2500 series.
