PREREQUISITES:<br />
Active <strong>Army</strong> or Reserve Component, 1LT(P) or CPT with AOC 88; 91; 92; or 67 series except<br />
67D or with equivalent training or experience must have completed the Basic Officer Leadership<br />
Course (BOLC). Selected Marine Corps 1LT (P) or CAPT must have a logistics specialty. Based<br />
on space availability, selected civilian personnel, GS-09 and above, assigned to positions in<br />
logistics career fields or intern programs may attend. Civilians should have completed Phase 1 of<br />
the Support Operations Course. Application for selection should include both a student biography<br />
and justification for attendance and be forwarded to the attention of the CLC3 director. Civilian<br />
personnel who are not in a specific logistics field, but who have 50% or more of their assigned job<br />
duties related to logistics, may also apply with a written request for waiver. The resident portion of<br />
the CLC3 PCS course is 20 weeks, 3 days. Phases 1A, 1B, and 2 must be completed in<br />
consecutive, uninterrupted sequence. Attendees must be enrolled separately in each course<br />
phase. CLC3 Phase 1A and 1B consists of 14 weeks, 3 days resident instruction at ALU in<br />
common core tasks, tactics, and multifunctional sustainment operations. CLC3 Phase 2 consists<br />
of 5-weeks of resident instruction. It trains company grade officers in their branch specific critical<br />
tasks.<br />
COURSE SCOPE:<br />
Phase 1 and Phase 2 includes training/instruction in doctrine, unit leadership, personnel<br />
functions, and multi-functional logistics.<br />
PHASE SCOPE:<br />
Phase 1A includes training/instruction in doctrine, unit leadership and personnel functions. Phase<br />
1B focuses on learning, planning and executing multi-functional logistical tasks and missions.<br />
SPECIAL INFORMATION:<br />
The resident portion of the course is 20 weeks, 3 days divided into 2 separate course phases that<br />
must be completed in consecutive, uninterrupted sequence. Attendees must be enrolled<br />
separately in each course phase.<br />
NOTE: The <strong>Army</strong> Service Uniform is required for special events.<br />
