COURSE SCOPE:<br />
Functions and responsibilities of the Division Transportation Officer (DTO). There will be a strong<br />
focus on strategic deployment and movement control in an area of operations. This includes<br />
planning and execution functions and the interaction of the DTO with the Installation<br />
Transportation Officer (ITO), the Corps Transportation Officer (CTO), Movement Control Center<br />
(MCC), and Movement Control Officer (MCO). This includes planning, coordinating, controlling,<br />
programming, and regulating the allocation and use of transportation resources in order to fulfill<br />
movement requirements and the strategic, operational and tactical levels of war.<br />

PREREQUISITES:<br />
Newly commissioned officers in the grades of 1LT through CPT who are graduates of accredited<br />
schools of law, pass a State Bar examination, are selected by the Judge Advocate General, and<br />
are assigned or under orders for assignment to the Judge Advocate General's Corps.<br />
COURSE SCOPE:<br />
Introduction to basic Soldier skills; drill and ceremony; map reading/land navigation; battlefield<br />
survival; weapons familiarization; leadership, and the <strong>Army</strong> Physical Readiness Training<br />
Program.<br />
