PHASE SCOPE:<br />
Phase 2 consists of five weeks of transportation specific training for assignments to company<br />
command and transportation staff planning positions. Special emphasis will be on the integration<br />
of Transportation and <strong>Logistics</strong> automated systems, Joint planning, the Operational Environment,<br />
and the integration of Lessons Learned.<br />
SPECIAL INFORMATION:<br />
This course consists of 3 resident phases which are all taught at ALU: Phase 1 is 14 weeks 3<br />
days of resident common-core and multifunctional training; Phase 2 is five weeks of Branchspecific<br />
training, using the small group leader methodology. Phase 3 is one week of resident<br />
broadening training designed to broaden the student’s perspective with regards to strategic<br />
logistics, joint sustainment operations, and multinational logistic operations.<br />

PREREQUISITES:<br />
Personnel selected for attendance must be assigned to, or projected for a SASMO position.<br />
Students must have successfully completed AIT and be computer literate and functionally literate<br />
of Logistic STAMIS. This course is available to U.S. Active, Reserve and Guard military officers,<br />
warrant officers, and enlisted personnel, ranking sergeant or above with MOS of: 15T, 25B, 53A,<br />
63H, 68G, 88N, 89B, 92A, 92Y and 920B. Enrollment is also open to DA civilians who require<br />
training for CSSAMO positions. Contractors may be selected for attendance with approval from<br />
the course proponent.<br />
COURSE SCOPE:<br />
This course provides students with training in the areas of computer systems hardware, operating<br />
systems, STAMIS applications ULLS-A, SAMS-E, PBUSE, SARSS (including RF/AIT), SAAS<br />
Mod, TCAIMS II, MC4, MTSÙ, systems interfaces, systems networking, trouble-shooting,<br />
communication protocols, and the use of VSAT/CAISI.<br />
