<strong>MEASUREMENT</strong> UNITS: This option is factory-set and appears as display only. The TruCAM is factory<br />

locked for the UK and will display MPH and metres.<br />

CAMERA LENS FOCUS: Select to change the distance where the still image capture will occur during<br />

Speed Mode. Displays message box and on-screen keypad prompting you to enter the new value:<br />

• The range = 50 - 150 metres<br />

• The optimum and default value = 70 metres<br />

<strong>DEVICE</strong> INFORMATION: Double-tap “Display ...” to display the Device Information Screen (page 25).<br />

<strong>DEVICE</strong> PARAMETRES: Double-tap “Change ...” to display the Device Parameters Screen (page 26).<br />

CROSSHAIR: Use the stylus to select the crosshair style that will be displayed on vehicle images.<br />

FS CHECK: FS CHECK stands for Linux File System Check and Repair. Double-tap “Proceed” to<br />

check the integrity of the SD Card file system.<br />

In the United Kingdom version the TruCAM Splash Screen appears, if the check is successful the unit<br />

will switch off the power.<br />

Figure 28 shows the screen that will be displayed during the check.<br />

If necessary, the TruCAM is able to recover (repair) a damaged file system on the SD Card. The<br />

TruCAM will automatically start the FS Check if (1) the SD Card is accidentally rejected, (2) the battery<br />

pack is removed during use, or (3) the SD Card contains logically damaged files.<br />

• The toolbar buttons are not active during the check.<br />

• Do not press the Power button during the check.<br />

• The TruCAM will power OFF when the check is complete.<br />

• If the SD Card is damaged, any recovered files will be located in the SD Card’s root directory with an<br />

*.rec file extension.<br />

• With a logically damaged SD Card, some data or entire data may be lost.<br />
