3.2.3.1 Definición<br />
La distribución "t" es sumamente importante en Inferencia <strong>Estadística</strong>; fue<br />
<strong>de</strong>scubierta por GOSSET (1908). El nombre <strong>de</strong> STUDENT es el seudónimo con el que<br />
firmó sus publicaciones estadísticas, y pue<strong>de</strong> pensarse <strong>de</strong> él que es el fundador <strong>de</strong> la<br />
inferencia estadística exacta, pues hasta 1908 era corriente tratar a la variable<br />
como una variable normal.<br />
