Desempeño CoN seNTIDo - PepsiCo

Vive Saludable Escuelas fue posible
gracias a un novedoso modelo de alianzas
entre PepsiCo México e instituciones
públicas y sociales. Entre ellas figuran
la Secretaría de Educación Pública, la
Comisión Nacional de la Cultura Física y
Deporte, el Instituto Latinoamericano de
la Comunicación Educativa, la Fundación
Arturo Rosenblueth y la Unión de Empresarios
por la Tecnología de la Educación
(UNETE).
Asimismo, y con el fin de dar seguimiento
a la aplicación de este programa,
el Instituto Nacional de Pediatría (INP)
aplica un protocolo de investigación a
una muestra de escuelas participantes
en el programa para medir los resultados
de la intervención a través del Programa
Vive Saludable Escuelas.
De manera adicional, en la muestra
de escuelas se analiza con mayor detalle
la información registrada por los usuarios
del software para vincularla con la base
de datos que se genera para el estudio
clínico. De esta manera se garantizan los
mecanismos de evaluación y seguimiento
del aprendizaje sobre alimentación
correcta, práctica de actividad física y
cambios de hábitos.
Gracias a las alianzas que PepsiCo
México ha logrado establecer, con el Programa
Vive Saludable Escuelas llegamos
a toda la comunidad escolar incluyendo
a niños, maestros y padres de familia de
la República Mexicana.
Vive Saludable School Program is
possible thanks to an innovative partnership
model between PepsiCo Mexico and
public and social institutions. Amongst
these are the Ministry of Public Education,
(through the National Commission
of Physical Education and Sports), the
Latin American Institute of Educational
Communication, the Arturo Rosenblueth
Foundation, and the Union of Entrepreneurs
for Technology in Education
(UNETE).
With the goal of continuing with the
application of this program, the National
Pediatrics Institute (INP) is applying a
research evaluation tool to a sample of
the schools participating in the program
in order to measure the results of the intervention
by the Vive Saludable School
Program.
Additionally, in the sample of the
schools the information registered
about the software users is analyzed in
greater detail in order to link it to the
data base that is generated for the clinical
study. In this way the mechanisms
for evaluation and follow-up of the
learning about correct dietary practices,
physical activity and changing of habits
can be guaranteed.
Thanks to the partnerships that
PepsiCo Mexico has managed to
assemble, with the Vive Saludable School
Program we connect with the school
community, including children, teachers
and parents across the country.
