Third Grade<br />
Mariana Briceño, Luciano Salas and Mathias Valdivia pres<strong>en</strong>ting<br />
their Sci<strong>en</strong>ce Project. They compared differ<strong>en</strong>t fertilizers<br />
including a homemade one, looking for the fertilizer that had<br />
better results and made plants grow faster.<br />
Paula Wakabayashi, Rodrigo Salamanca and Facundo Navarro<br />
are discussing on how to start their experim<strong>en</strong>t. It was about<br />
comparing the human DNA and the plants DNA. They made it with<br />
lots of effort and <strong>en</strong>thusiasm.<br />
Sci<strong>en</strong>ce Fair<br />
Leonardo Rodríguez, Lucía Ibarra and Joaquín Simon got the<br />
First Place in the Sci<strong>en</strong>ce Fair. Their conclusion was that the best<br />
liquid for watering seeds was tap water. In this picture: Leonardo<br />

were busy working on their<br />
“Powerful Boat” Sci<strong>en</strong>ce Fair<br />
Project. They were interested<br />
in making a boat using<br />
recycled materials that was<br />
powered by a motor and a<br />
battery. This project was an<br />
application of their lesson<br />
about electricity.<br />
