Animal<br />
Adv<strong>en</strong>tures<br />
As part of the project, childr<strong>en</strong> learned vocabulary<br />
related to wild animals. They discovered the differ<strong>en</strong>t<br />
kinds of habitats, sang songs like Gabo the<br />
giraffe, Mr. Monkey and Happy Hippo. Childr<strong>en</strong><br />
had a fabulous time moving like their favorite wild<br />
animals, playing games and visiting the zoo.<br />

Al llegar al zoológico de Huachipa, los chicos se quedaron<br />
<strong>en</strong>cantados al ver tan cerca a las jirafas, se sorpr<strong>en</strong>dieron de su<br />
gran tamaño y cómo comían diversas hojas.<br />
Animales Salvajes<br />
Sin duda uno de los proyectos favoritos ha sido<br />
el de “Conocemos más sobre los animales salvajes”.<br />
Iniciaron el proyecto visitando el zoológico<br />
de Huachipa, donde pudieron observar diversos<br />
animales acuáticos, serpi<strong>en</strong>tes, aves, felinos, <strong>en</strong>tre<br />
otros.<br />
Apr<strong>en</strong>dieron que son animales salvajes no porque<br />
todos sean peligrosos sino porque viv<strong>en</strong> <strong>en</strong> la<br />
naturaleza y sobreviv<strong>en</strong> por sus propios medios.<br />
Además vieron diversos videos para apr<strong>en</strong>der<br />
más de ellos, investigaron libros e Internet y cada<br />
uno se volvió “experto” <strong>en</strong> un animal salvaje.<br />
A la par de estas investigaciones, los niños hicieron<br />
un abecedario con los nombres de los difer<strong>en</strong>tes<br />
animales, crearon adivinanzas, cantaron<br />
canciones, jugaron con material concreto para<br />
compararlos, clasificarlos y contarlos, así como<br />
también crearon historias y apr<strong>en</strong>dieron a hacer<br />
animales con origami.<br />
Al final de todo el proyecto, quisieron contar lo<br />
apr<strong>en</strong>dido <strong>en</strong> un mural que se armó afuera del salón<br />
y donde tanto los padres como los alumnos<br />
de otros grados y profesores pudieron conocer<br />
también más de los animales salvajes.<br />
