Fifth Grade<br />
Santiago Mimbela, Micaela Solimano and<br />
Adrián Ramírez were testing if differ<strong>en</strong>t types of<br />
materials on the road could affect the distance<br />
traveled by a car. As indep<strong>en</strong>d<strong>en</strong>t variables, they<br />
experim<strong>en</strong>ted with sand, water and soap.<br />
Mira Guerra-García, Rodrigo Ruiz and Darío Andrich found out if the type of liquid<br />
could affect the plant developm<strong>en</strong>t. They measured the height of the plant each day<br />
and discovered that water was the best liquid to use.<br />
Sixth Grade<br />
School Life<br />
Gonzalo Gómez, Joel Stisin and Valeria Ponce proudly pose<br />
together with their teacher before the Sci<strong>en</strong>ce Fair pres<strong>en</strong>tation. In<br />
order to observe bacteria, they built an improvised microscope so<br />
they could save a visit to a medical laboratory.<br />
Luciana Villafuerte, Mariale Curiante and María Grazia Solari<br />
investigated what was the best food for hamsters, experim<strong>en</strong>ting<br />
with fruits and vegetables. Their goal was to show people that<br />
vegetables are a great source of nutri<strong>en</strong>ts if you have hamsters as<br />
pets.<br />

Paula Gonzales, Belén Ordóñez and Eug<strong>en</strong>io Cisneros repres<strong>en</strong>ted<br />
Tr<strong>en</strong>er in ADECOPA’s Sci<strong>en</strong>ce Fair. The team found out which was<br />
the best laundry deterg<strong>en</strong>t to clean a stain of chicha morada. They<br />
learned about the water surface t<strong>en</strong>sion and how the surfactants<br />
act.<br />
