PERSONNEL COORDINATION CENTRE
(ATLANTIC) (N11)
The Personnel Coordination Center (Atlantic) (PCC(A) – N11) organization
is responsible to the Assistant Chief of Staff Personnel and
Training in MARLANT Headquarters. The N11 organization comprises
several sections.
The N11-1 SSO Military Personnel administers the Formation Augmentation
Atlantic (FA (A)), landed personnel and crewing requirements
for the fleet.
The N11-2 SO Incremental Tasking deals with incremental as well as
formation ceremonial tasks.
The N11-3 SSO Training is responsible for all aspects of the formation
organization and establishment issues and fleet training requirements
including ships’ training inspections.
The N11-4 SSO Naval Reserve administers Reserve personnel issues,
including augmentation crewing of the Maritime Coastal Defence
Vessels.
The Language Training Centre (Atlantic) is responsible to N11 for
the delivery of French and English language training for CF personnel in
the Halifax area.

THE ROYAL NOVA SCOTIA
INTERNATIONAL TATTOO
The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo has been presented annually
in Halifax since 1979. It is presented by the Royal Nova Scotia
International Tattoo Society with support from the Government of Canada,
the Province of Nova Scotia, the Canadian Forces, the Royal Canadian
Mounted Police, the Halifax Regional Municipality and the corporate
community. The 2011 Tattoo will be held from July 1 to 8 at the
Halifax Metro Centre.
The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo has been named Canada’s
number one event by the American Bus Association. It is one of the
world’s premiere cultural and entertainment spectaculars with more
than 2,000 first-class Canadian and international military and civilian
performers. In addition to the Tattoo performances, the public can preview
many of the show’s performers and acts at the annual outdoor Tattoo
Festival.

The Joint Task Force Atlantic J1 Operations section is the CF OPI for
Tattoo support and all CF participation. Both the CF support staff and
civilian production organizers are always looking for volunteers to perform
in the show, work behind the scenes, serve as liaison to international
visiting groups, or otherwise assist. CF Tattoo offices are located in
the former Queen’s Printer Building (S-93) at 2740 Barrington Street,
Halifax.

Centre de coordination du personnel (Atlantique) (N11)
Le Centre de coordination du personnel (Atlantique) (CCP(A) -
N11), relève du chef d’état-major adjoint - Personnel et instruction des
FMAR (A). Ce service se compose de plusieurs sections:
L’OSEM personnel militaire (N11-1) - Cette section administre le
programme d’augmentation de la Formation (Atlantique), les besoins
en personnel (à terre et embarqué) de la flotte et la Liste des effectifs du
personnel non disponible (LEPDN) des FMAR (A).
L’OEM Assignation des tâches et mobilisation (N11-2) - Cette section
s’occupe des tâches supplémentaires ainsi que du cérémonial de la
Formation.
L’OSEM Entraînement (N11-3) - Cette section s’occupe de tout ce
qui concerne les effectifs et l’organisation de la Formation, ainsi que des
besoins d’entraînement de la flotte, y compris les inspections du niveau
d’entraînement des équipages.
L’OSEM Réserve navale (N11-4) – Cette section s’occupe du personnel
de la Réserve navale, notamment de l’augmentation de l’armement
en équipage des navires de défense côtière.
Centre de formation linguistique de l’Atlantique - Ce centre, qui relève
de N11, est chargé des cours de français et d’anglais pour le personnel
des FC de la région d’Halifax.

LE TATTOO ROYAL INTERNATIONAL
DE LA NOUVELLE-ÉCOSSE
Depuis 1979, le Tattoo royal international de la Nouvelle-Écosse est
présenté tous les ans à Halifax par la Société du Tattoo royal international
de la Nouvelle-Écosse, avec l’appui du gouvernement du Canada, du
gouvernement de la Nouvelle-Écosse, des Forces canadiennes, de la
Gendarmerie royale du Canada, de la Municipalité régionale de Halifax
et du monde des affaires. L’édition 2011 du Tattoo aura lieu du 1er au 8
juillet, au Halifax Metro Centre.
Le Tattoo royal international de la Nouvelle-Écosse a été jugée la plus
grande manifestation canadienne par l’American Bus Association.
C’est un des grands spectacles internationaux, qui attire plus de 2 000
participants, civils et militaires, canadiens et étrangers. En marge du
Tattoo se déroulent des spectacles de plein air, le Tattoo Festival, où se
produisent de nombreux artistes qui participent au Tattoo.

La section des opérations de la Force opérationnelle interarmées Atlantique
(J1) est le BPR aux FC du soutien au Tattoo et la participation
des militaires. Le personnel de soutien des FC et les organisateurs civils
sont toujours à la recherche de bénévoles pour participer au spectacle,
aider à l’organisation, accueillir les groupes de visiteurs.

immeuble de l’Imprimeur de la Reine (S-93), 2740, rue Barrington.
