THE LEGAL STATUS OF CHILDREN BORN THROUGH
ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION
In this article discussed the problem of legal status of children born
through artificial insemination. In article used Georgian and foreign scientific
literature and legislation. This problem is not regulate in Georgian Civil Code.
In Georgia accordingly to December 10, 1997 Health Protection Law artificial
insemination is permitted and successfully realize in Jordania Human Reproduction
Scientific-Research Institute. Accordingly to statistic in Georgia
there are many cases when children born through artificial insemination. The
author think that this problem should be regulate in Georgia Civil Code. For
this problem improvement are necessary to make appropriate amendments in
Georgian Civil Legislation.
