LAWS OF SAMEGRELO (ODISHI) PRINCEDOM OF GEORGIA
Odishi or samegrelo as Georgian Feudal Kingdom was integral part of
Georgian law system. Local church judical monument ,,Ladigar of shopa” as
other canonic Law power in Samegrelo Kingdom. From the beginning of the
18th century, in Odishi,as well as in the whole Georgian the main law was the
“Book of Law” by Vakhtang VI. In Odishi (samegrelo) till abolishing of this
Kingdom (1867) there were acting the written Laws as well as legal regulations
of common law.
