acquista più rilevanza del contenuto, le opere esposte. In
Endgame, invece, dell’anno successivo, in quella che
sarà l’ultima mostra della galleria Emi Fontana, il
ribaltamento torna a interessare la sfera pubblica e quella
privata, l’interno e l’esterno. Sia il titolo della mostra sia i
lavori sono un omaggio a Beckett, autore che la ispira sin
dagli esordi. A partire da Nessuno del 1993, esposto nella
mostra inaugurale della galleria di Emi Fontana: la voce
registrata di Moro legge le note al testo Giorni Felici di
Beckett con le indicazioni dell’autore per l’attore. La voce
è emessa da quattro casse acustiche sistemate a croce
con al centro una piccola torre di carta affiancata da
lucine intermittenti. Anche il lavoro video Un temps
realizzato a Bourges nel 1997 è ispirato da Aspettando
Godot: quattro immagini – l’occhio dell’artista, la sua
bocca che recita in francese, con le difficoltà e gli intoppi
di una lingua che stava appena imparando, di nuovo
l’occhio di prima ma rivolto in altra direzione e altro tempo
e, infine, la bocca ma che recita in italiano.
Tornando alla mostra del 2009, tre sculture in vetro soffiato
arancione recano il titolo Flo Vi Ru, i nomi di tre personaggi
femminili presi dal testo Come and Go di
S. Beckett. L’oggetto di partenza è la
peretta, il suo nome vero è schizzetto, che
serve per fare il clistere.
All That Fall, di nuovo il titolo di un testo di
Beckett, sono invece 40 immagini
ritagliate dal giornale e incorniciate: alcune
più vecchie, altre legate a eventi occorsi
nel 2009 - ritratti del volto, cambiamenti di espressione
dovuti a smorfie di dolore o a eventi violenti o

from the following year and during what would be the last
show at the Emi Fontana gallery, this subversion once
again involved the public and private spheres, the interior
and the exterior. Both the title of the exhibition and those of
the works displayed were an homage to Beckett, a source
of inspiration since her debut. Beginning with Nessuno (No
One) from 1993, shown during the inaugural exhibition at
the Emi Fontana: Moro’s recorded voice read the notes to
Beckett’s Happy Days that offer indications from the author
to the actor. The voice was broadcast from four acoustic
speakers set in the form of a cross, its centre occupied by
a small paper tower flanked by flashing lights. The piece
entitled Un temps (A Time) realised in Bourges in 1997,
was inspired by Waiting for Godot: four images – the artist’s
eye, her mouth speaking French, with the difficulties and
errors of a language being learned, the same eye again,
this time looking in another direction and, finally, the mouth
speaking in Italian. Returning to the 2009 show, three
orange blown glass sculptures were entitled Flo Vi Ru, the
names of the three female characters from Beckett’s Come
and Go. The starting point was the peretta (rubber syringe),
its correct Italian name being schizzetto, used to administer
an enema.
All That Fall, once again the title of a text by Beckett, is
instead 40 images cut from a newspaper and framed: some
older, others related to
events from 2009 –
images of faces, changes
in expression caused by
grimaces of pain or violent
events or simply particular
