Method applied in the Dialogue Space (30 minutes)
- Talk about a situation/action/tool in the Dialogue Space which particularly worked and one
which didn’t work.
- Among these situations/actions/tools, choose some of them (positive and negative) and try to
explain how could the negative ones be improved? And why did the positive ones work?
(in this second part you can divide the students in pairs and ask them to choose a positive and a
negative situation/action/tool and explain, then let them discuss in the whole group)
Students’ motivation (20 minutes)
What drove you to participate to the Dialogue Space? (e.g. parents/family, relations with teachers;
friends’ presence; a chance to go out from the class and make something different; etc)
(you can ask students to write their answers on small cards – if necessary indicating more answers
and a scale of importance – then discuss all together)
- Which benefits and which difficulties did you face in the Dialogue Space?
Conclusions (10 minutes)
Can the Dialogue Space be an effective answer to discrimination problems in the schools?
If you have time, add a section to discuss some results of the Teachers and Asi Focus, if it has
been realized before this one.
