ALBERTO BIASI, Padova 1937 Fra i principali esponenti delle ricerche artistiche programmate e cinetiche, membro del Gruppo Enne di Padova, attivo nel movimento “Nuove Tendenze” che fra Zagabria, Parigi e Venezia, dal 1961, unì artisti di provenienza internazionale…vastissima, anche ad uno sguardo rapido, è stata in oltre quarant’anni la sua attività espositiva; sfaccettata e versatile la sua ricerca, dove la luce artifi ciale ha spesso giocato il ruolo di indiscussa protagonista, dall’oggettoopera alla realizzazione di environments alle estensioni e verifi che urbane. (1) Insieme alle categorie del movimento, alle indagini sul ruolo dell’artista in relazione al gruppo di lavoro, allo spettatore, al contesto spazio-temporale, fi n dalla sua prima mostra nello Studio Enne di Padova Biasi constatava che, se “…lo studio sempre più oggettivo delle fi gure spaziali in natura dimostrò che queste si formano per una doppia tensione che parte dal centro e vi ritorna... [e] il mezzo pittorico tradizionale si rivelò inadatto ad una simile raffi gurazione…”, poteva essere la luce a tornare “…nel quadro, non più come interpretazione personale, ma come fatto fi sico che supera la limitazione bidimensionale della superfi cie”. Il dualismo fra programmazione e azzardo, laddove se l’opera è sempre perfettamente calcolata in ogni suo aspetto tecnico e tecnologico, il fruitore che è chiamato a completarla, a riempirla di senso attraverso risposte personali e quindi estemporanee, può stravolgerla completamente nel meccanismo, scegliendo come comportarsi e se e come interagire con essa (2) ; la costante tensione verso l’estensione dell’opera da oggetto ad ambiente, rispondente alla necessità di verifi care, attraverso il salto di scala, la sua reale trasformazione in uno spazio dove intervenire direttamente, in uno spazio, dunque, dove opera e spettatore non siano più separati, ma uniti e confrontati da una serie di relazioni tra movimento illusorio e spazio reale, e viceversa; l’introduzione della luce artifi ciale quale contributo fondamentale del cambiamento di percezione consueta della realtà, sia essa temporale o spaziale: sono, queste, alcune tematiche che tornano nelle tre opere esposte, appartenenti a diversi stadi della sua ricerca. Con il “Light Prisms”, la cui prima versione (1962-1965) era concepita come operaquadro luminoso che interagiva con il luogo dove era collocata, totalmente oscurato, Biasi lavora sul concetto di environment, ambiente appositamente costruito e destinato a chiarire il dualismo implicito dell’arte programmata in quanto, come dice egli stesso “…viene percepita la compresenza di più segni in trasformazione secondo un calcolo aperto al disordine e contemporaneamente al ricomporsi in geometrie e armonie dell’insieme. I segni sono in continua mutazione di colore essendo risultante quest’ultimo dalla scomposizione prismatica della luce e dalla successiva selezione delle bande colorate tramite blocchi trasparenti in movimento rotatorio”. L’ambiente è composto infatti da una superfi cie calpestabile bianca dove sono disposti dei prismi che scompongono la luce in bande colorate e dei corpi rifrangenti illuminati e colorati dalla luce fi ltrata dei prismi stessi. Tali blocchi, che si rifl ettono negli specchi disposti lungo i percorsi, ruotano ciascuno attorno ad un proprio asse, senza reciproci contatti; l’interrelazione avviene invece attraverso il rimando continuo di raggi luminosi di colore cangiante e in continuo movimento che creano una serie di rinvii. La combinazione movimento-luce consente non solo la creazione d’inedite vibrazioni
