BEPPE BONETTI, Rovato, Brescia 1951 “La metarazionalità vuol dire: conoscere la regola ma romperla; vedere il mondo strabicamente; cercare la ragione nella non ragione; diffi dare dell’istinto ma anche della ragione. Non dire “è ragionevole” perché può Essere irragionevole. Non dire “abbasso la luna piena”. Non dire…non dire…e dire…e dire…” (1) È attraverso la penultima riga della poesiamanifesto della Metarazionalità, scritta di pugno dall’artista, che desidero avviare la lettura delle sue “Luci metarazionali” esposte in mostra. Metarazionalità, infatti, vuole anche dire: “non dire abbasso la luna piena”. Così Bonetti rifi uta, attraverso l’elegante citazione, da un punto di vista creativo e di scelta artistica, le cosiddette avanguardie della dissacrazione, del disordine, della ribellione, per usare una defi nizione di Calvesi: Dadaismo e soprattutto Futurismo che provocatoriamente, ricorda lo stesso artista, proclamava di uccidere quel chiaro di luna, simbolo, o meglio sintomo, di una malata Venezia Passatista (2) , mentre guardava adorante alla moderna luce elettrica. Sinonimo e metafora di una radicale trasformazione dei linguaggi espressivi, la luce futurista sempre si presenta graffi ante, allucinata, violenta, frantumata nel coraggio di dichiarazioni urlate, di gestualità e forme portate all’eccesso. Diversamente s’irradia la luce metarazionale, sorta al polo opposto, dove l’artista si “schiera”: quella delle avanguardie progettuali, di Bauhaus e De Stijl, Costruttivismo e Suprematismo; da Mondrian a Malevich, da Van Doesburg fi no all’<strong>Arte</strong> Concreta di Dorfl es, Munari e Soldati. Metarazionalità: da qui parte, ma soltanto s’avvia, la ricerca di Beppe Bonetti, punto d’incrocio fra la visualizzazione di un pensiero matematico, raziocinante, e l’incontrovertibile presenza di una dimensione estetica, come sottolineava Munari, oltre vent’anni fa (3) . La luce metarazionale ribadisce tali osservazioni: lontana dagli schiamazzi e dalla provocazione, muta si delinea, e delimita due forme perfette, millenarie, fi losofi a e raziocinio insieme, calcolo e meditazione – il quadrato e il cerchio; ne esalta i perimetri, segnalandone i limiti, potenziandone l’impatto visivo. S’imbeve delle illuminazioni gestaltiche, dei lampi di genio della psicologia percettiva; e prima ancora dello sforzo suprematista di tradurre, attraverso il quadrato (o il cerchio, in questo caso) “…la prima forma di espressione della sensibilità non oggettiva…” (4) . Una luce meta-razionale, appunto, venuta dopo, quindi carica di, ricerche geometriche, progettuali, costruttive; e intanto sempre pronta a rivelare l’esistenza, pur nell’astrarre, del fenomeno naturale e del dato emotivo - l’affascinante presenza dell’errore umano. “Imporsi l’esattezza per non andare allo sbando…” (5) pare facciano eco alle parole dell’artista, oggi, queste due Luci di meta-fi sica metarazionalità.
