Dal 1990 ha la propria sede nel<br />
settecentesco Collegio dei Gesuiti,<br />
opera dell’architetto bolognese Alfonso<br />
Torregiani e racchiude le memorie<br />
civiche raccolte a partire dal XVI secolo.<br />
Si compone <strong>di</strong> una sezione archeologica<br />
e <strong>di</strong> una sezione me<strong>di</strong>evale e moderna.<br />
Lo scalone settecentesco porta alla<br />
Pinacoteca ove figurano, fra gli altri,<br />
capolavori della Scuola riminese del<br />
Trecento. Il cortile ospita il lapidario<br />
romano con un centinaio <strong>di</strong> iscrizioni dal<br />
I sec. a.C. al IV sec. d.C.<br />
Since 1990 it has been housed in the<br />
18 th -century Jesuit’s College, a buil<strong>di</strong>ng<br />
by the Bolognese architect Alfonso<br />
Torregiani and has municipal remains<br />
dating from the 16 th century onwards.<br />
The museum has an archaeological<br />
section, as well as a me<strong>di</strong>eval and<br />
modern section. The 18 th -century<br />
staircase leads to the art gallery where<br />
there are masterpieces by, amongst<br />
others, the 14 th -century <strong>Rimini</strong> school.<br />
The courtyard houses the Roman<br />
lapidary, with around a hundred<br />
inscriptions dating from the 1st century<br />
B.C. to the 4 th century A.D.<br />
