Autentico gioiello del Rinascimento<br />
italiano voluto da Sigismondo Malatesta<br />
attorno alla metà del quin<strong>di</strong>cesimo<br />
secolo trovò in Leon Battista Alberti il<br />
realizzatore geniale. Di particolare<br />
pregio il Crocifisso <strong>di</strong> Giotto, l’affresco <strong>di</strong><br />
Piero della Francesca e una grande tela<br />
del Vasari.<br />
This is <strong>Rimini</strong>’s cathedral and basilica<br />
and a place of worship for the Catholic<br />
faith. An authentic jewel of the Italian<br />
Renaissance, it was commissioned by<br />
Sigismondo Malatesta around the mid-<br />
15 th century and was realised by the<br />
great architect Leon Battista Alberti.<br />
Inside, outstan<strong>di</strong>ng works of art include<br />
the Crucifix by Giotto, a fresco by Piero<br />
della Francesca and a large painting by<br />
Vasari.<br />
