successive years. 2015 ended with a total production of
480,800tons,thatis,10.8%morethanthepreviousyear
(when the figure was 434,100 tons). Imports increased in
2011(reaching347,000tons)anddecreasedagainduring
the following three years. 2015, however, ended with
a figure of 292,000 tons, 6.5 % more than the previous
year(whenthefigurewas274,200tons).Exportsfollow
a different pattern, as there has been a marked increase
duringthepastfewyearsreaching281,600tonsin2015
(up by 7.4% compared to 2014). Finally,
consumption increased from
2010 to 2012 (reaching a value of
469,400 tons), only to decrease
during the following two years. In
2015 the figure reached 491,200
tons, up by 10.1% compared to the
previous year.
In the diagram in figure 5, showing
the trend by three-month period,
it can be seen that the production
of rolled goods in Italy tends
to increase, the fourth term in 2015
showed a value of 124,000 tons, that
is,18.4%morethanthesameperiod
of the previous year. Regarding
imports, the trend during the past
fewyearsshowedadecrease,with
an upswing in the last part of 2014 and the beginning of
2015. During the fourth term of 2015 the recorded valuewas63,000tons,or0.2%lessthanthesameperiod
of the previous year.
Exports are on the slight increase during the past two
years, and the fourth term in 2015 showed a datum of
72,500 tons. The segment’s consumption was on the
whole very positive. The fourth term in 2015 showed a
value of 114,900 tons, that is, 3.9% more than the same
period of the previous year.

L’utilizzototaledelcompartoestrusionenel2015èstatodi
410.500t,facendoilraffrontoconl’anno2014siregistrauna
lievecrescitadell’1%(ilvaloreeradi406.300t.).Nondimentichiamoci
comunque che nel 2008 il consumo interno era
di686.300t,echedaalloraladomandahasubitounacontrazione
di oltre il 40%; va colto quindi il dato positivo di un
trendincrescita,marestaconfermata lafortepenalizzazione
del settore dovuta al protrarsi della stasi del settore
dell’ediliziaedellecostruzioni,acuisièaggiunta,quest’anno,
anche una pesante battuta di arresto della meccanica.
Nelgraficodifigura3èpossibileosservarechenegliultimitre
anni la produzione di estrusi in Italia è stabile ed attestata su valori
nettamente inferiori rispetto agli anni precedenti. Il 4° trimestre
2015, con il valore registrato di 136.600 t, ha fatto segnare
unpiccoloaumentodi0,4%rispettoallostessoperiododell’anno
precedente. Per quanto riguarda le importazioni l’andamento
negli ultimi anni è rimasto sostanzialmente inalterato, con piccoli
movimenti in riduzione nella seconda parte del 2014. Il 4° trimestre
2015 si è chiuso con un valore di 17.000 t, ovvero -6,1% rispetto
allo stesso periodo dell’anno precedente.
Riguardo alle esportazioni, l’andamento degli scorsi recenti
anni mostra che i valori trimestrali sono sempre intorno alle
45.000/60.000 t; il 4° trimestre 2015 ha registrato un valore di
46.500t,ovvero+2,2%rispettoallostessoperiododell›anno
