SET_HOST_POWER_SAVER<br />
The SET_HOST_POWER_SAVER comm<strong>and</strong> is used to set the Power Regulator Setting for the server<br />
processor. For this comm<strong>and</strong> to parse correctly, the SET_HOST_POWER_SAVER comm<strong>and</strong> must<br />
appear within a SERVER_INFO comm<strong>and</strong> block, <strong>and</strong> SERVER_INFO MODE must be set to write.<br />
The user must have the Virtual Power <strong>and</strong> Reset privilege to execute this comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

SET_HOST_POWER_SAVER parameters<br />
The HOST_POWER_SAVER comm<strong>and</strong> controls the Dynamic Power Saver feature of the server<br />
processor if the feature is supported. The possible values are:<br />
• 1—Operating system control mode<br />
• 2—<strong>HP</strong> Static Low Power mode<br />
• 3—<strong>HP</strong> Dynamic Power Savings mode<br />
• 4—<strong>HP</strong> Static High Performance mode<br />
SET_HOST_POWER_SAVER runtime errors<br />
The possible SET_HOST_POWER error messages include:<br />
• Server information is open for read-only access. Write access is<br />
required for this operation.<br />
• Power Regulator feature is not supported on this server.<br />
• User does not have correct privilege for action. RESET_SERVER_PRIV<br />
required.<br />
GET_HOST_POWER_STATUS<br />
The GET_HOST_POWER_STATUS comm<strong>and</strong> requests the power state of the server. For this comm<strong>and</strong><br />
to parse correctly, the GET_HOST_POWER_STATUS comm<strong>and</strong> must appear within a SERVER_INFO<br />
comm<strong>and</strong> block. You can set SERVER_INFO MODE to read or write.<br />
