CERTIFICATE_SIGNING_REQUEST parameters (for custom CSR)<br />
CSR_STATE - Specifies state in which the company or organization that owns the <strong>iLO</strong> subsystem<br />
is located.<br />
CSR_COUNTRY - Specifies the two-character country code for the country in which the company<br />
or organization that owns the <strong>iLO</strong> subsystem is located.<br />
CSR_LOCALITY - Specifies the city or locality in which the company or organization that owns the<br />
<strong>iLO</strong> subsystem is located.<br />
CSR_ORGANIZATION - Specifies the name of the company or organization that owns the <strong>iLO</strong><br />
subsystem.<br />
CSR_ORGANIZATIONAL_UNIT - The unit within the company or organization that owns the <strong>iLO</strong><br />
subsystem<br />
CSR_COMMON_NAME - The FQDN of the <strong>iLO</strong> subsystem.<br />
CERTIFICATE_SIGNING_REQUEST errors<br />
Possible error messages for CERTIFICATE_SIGNING_REQUEST for custom CSR scripts include:<br />
• CSR_STATE is too long.<br />
• Need a value for the CSR_STATE tag.<br />
• CSR_COUNTRY is too long.<br />
• Need a value for the CSR_COUNTRY tag.<br />
• CSR_LOCALITY is too long.<br />
• Need a value for the CSR_LOCALITY tag.<br />
• CSR_ORGANIZATION is too long.<br />
• Need a value for the CSR_ORGANIZATION tag.<br />
• CSR_ORGANIZATIONAL_UNIT is too long.<br />
• CSR_COMMON_NAME is too long.<br />
• Need a value for the CSR_COMMON_NAME tag.<br />
• User does NOT have correct privilege for action. CONFIG_ILO_PRIV<br />
required.<br />
When you first request a new CSR, or if the system is already working on another CSR, you will<br />
see this message:<br />
The <strong>iLO</strong> subsystem is currently generating a Certificate Signing<br />
Request(CSR), run script after 10 minutes or more to receive the CSR.<br />
IMPORT_CERTIFICATE<br />
The IMPORT_CERTIFICATE comm<strong>and</strong> imports a signed certificate into <strong>iLO</strong>. The signed certificate<br />
must be a signed version of a certificate signing request. This comm<strong>and</strong> requires CPQLOCFG.EXE<br />
version 4.00 or later.<br />
