Yann started making video games in the early 80s, when he was 11 years old. After studying<br />

maths and computer science, he was hired by Ubisoft in 1994 as a lead programmer to work on<br />

Rayman, Rayman 2 and at the same time producing some of the key engines and te<strong>ch</strong>nologies<br />

for Ubisoft. In 2000 he founded his own studio, Tiwak, together with 6 co-founders, most of<br />

them from the Rayman 2 Team. Tiwak was sold to Ubisoft in 2004 and Yann stayed on as<br />

studio head to produce the "Yeti" game engine used in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and<br />

Beowulf. In 2008 Yann left Ubisoft to start his own company again, this time providing<br />

consultancy for video games studios worldwide. The company is based in Wollerau, SZ.<br />
