:: Foreign Languages Competition
The Foreign Languages Competition (Fremdsprachenwettbewerb)
for Tyrol and South Tyrol took place on
the 23rd and 24th of Februrary 2011.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Daniel Hammerle
of class 5 AK. I am a pupil of the 5-year course at
the Villa Blanka. I am proud to say that my command
of foreign languages is very good, particularly
as for as English and Spanish are
concerned. I was very successful at the
bilingual competition (English and Spanish)
and I am very proud to say that I
was the winner of this competition. It
was quite a demanding challenge to
talk to American and Spanish native
speakers in front of a jury consisting of 4
Spanish and English native speakers. On
the second day of the competition I participated
in the Spanish only competition
and managed to win second place. I
was finally invited to attend a further competition in
LINZ where I was able to compete against the best 9
candidate from Austria. It was a great honor to represent
our school. I did not win this competition, but I
was among the best competitors. If you are good at
foreign languages, join a course for especially talented
pupils, prove yourself in your own school first and
then enter the competition. You won’t regret it…
I would like to thank my teachers Mrs. Prof. Mag.
Hardwick (English) and Mr. Prof. Mag. Caroca-
Santander(Spanish) who prepared me for the competitions
and helped me to win the Spanish-English
competition. Thank you very much.
:: Fremdsprachenwettbewerb 2011
Nach unzähligen Stunden, in denen wir unser Italienisch
mit Frau Lechner und Angela zum Feinschliff
brachten, traten Johannes Strasser und ich zum diesjährigen
Fremdsprachenwettbewerb an.
Um unsere bereits fortgeschrittenen Italienisch-
Kenntnisse zu verbessern, beschäftigten wir uns in
den Vorbereitungsstunden mit vielen Videos und
Zeitungsartikeln aus Italien.
Weiters übten wir das Präsentieren und das Wiedergeben
von Video-Sequenzen, sowie das Argumentieren
in unterschiedlichen Diskussionsrunden.
Dank der Hilfe von Frau Lechner und unserer Italienisch-Assistentin
Angela machten wir schon bald kei-
El concurso de idiomas se realizó el 23 y el 24 de febrero
en Innsbruck.
Mi nombre es Daniel Hammerle y soy un alumno de
la clase 5AK del Instituto Profesional Villa Blanka de
Innsbruck. Estoy muy orgulloso de comentarles que
para mí los idiomas extranjeros han tenido un significado
muy especial especialmente
inglés y español. En el concurso bilingual
(inglés – español) he tenido un
gran éxito y pude obtener el primer
lugar, por lo cual estoy muy contento
y orgulloso. Fue una tarea y un desafío
para mí hablar al mismo tiempo en inglés
y en español con dos “nativos”. El
jurado está compuesto por 4 personas.
Yo no participé sólo en el concurso bilingual
del 23 de febrero sino también
en el concurso de español del día 24
de febrero donde ocupé el segundo
lugar.Finalmente tuve la oportunidad de participar
en el concurso de idiomas a nivel nacional en Linz,
donde represente con mucho orgullo a mi provincia y
a mi Instituto. Aunque no estuve entre los ganadores
estuve entre los mejores del concurso.
Si te interesan los idiomas no dejes de hacer un curso
e inscríbete. Vale la pena. Te aseguro que no te arrepentirás.
De manera muy especial quiero agradecer
a mis profesores Sra. Prof. Mag. Monika Hardwick y
al Sr. Prof. MMag. Cristian Caroca-Santander y por su
ayuda y por la buena preparación para este concurso.

Im Februar dieses
Jahres war es dann
soweit, schon am
frühen Morgen
trafen wir uns in
den BTV-Sälen,
wo sich bereits
beachtlich viele
Schüler anderer
Schulen eingefunden
hatten.
