IBM WATSON COGNITIVE SERVICES
Cognitive systems – as a subfield of AI – can be used, among other things, to structure and
“understand” human language or images in IT systems. This can support decision-making
processes and enable natural interaction with users. IBM offers a range of products and
services under the name “IBM Watson” that can be used and integrated very quickly in
projects, even without extensive prior knowledge of computer linguistics and AI processes.

You can use a range of training materials offered by IBM as well as two-on-one training
sessions. The focus is on the creation, use and training of such cognitive services in the
IBM Cloud. Examples are chatbots, image recognition, natural language understanding
and sound analysis.
