<strong>Command</strong> Function This command allows the user to query/set<br />

the PAD timeout value. Data will be<br />

forwarded to the PAD destination even if<br />

the PAD block size has not been reached if<br />

period has elapsed since the<br />

last PAD character was received from the<br />

local host.<br />

Parameter Values<br />

The number of tenths of seconds to wait for<br />

the receipt of more PAD data before<br />

forwarding the currently accumulated PAD<br />

buffer to the PAD destination. A value of<br />

zero disables the PAD timeout feature. If<br />

the PAD timeout feature is disabled, no<br />

data will be forwarded to the destination<br />

until either an enabled forward character is<br />

received, or the selected PAD buffer size is<br />

reached. (50 = 5 seconds)<br />
