This parameter specifies the<br />

medium/transport used to send the alarm<br />

message<br />

0 = send alarm message out the serial port<br />

1 = send alarm message via SMS to<br />

addresses specified by $smsda command<br />

2 = send alarm message via UDP to<br />

address specified by $friend command<br />

4 = send alarm message via TCP to<br />

address specified by $friend command<br />

Notes The alarm message will have the following<br />

format: ,,.<br />

Example: Send the following<br />

command at$msglogal=1,0,0 to<br />

enable message log alarm when 1% of<br />

memory is full with unsent messages.<br />

When alarm condition is triggered, you<br />

should see a message similar to this:<br />

“010754000056580,55399,12” over the<br />

serial port where “010754000056580” is the<br />

modem ID of the device, “55399” is the<br />

number of bytes available to store<br />

messages, and “12” is the number of<br />

unsent messages currently stored in buffer.<br />

A new alarm message is sent only<br />

after the current alarm condition<br />

is cleared.<br />
