1.0 INTRODUCTION<br />
This last unit will focus on <strong>the</strong> remaining two hadith texts. <strong>Hadith</strong> 41<br />
defines who a believer is while concluding hadith (hadith 42) which is<br />
hadith qudsi, focuses on Allah’s promise to forgive mankind <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
sins no matter how big it may be. The study <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> two hadiths shall<br />
include Arabic text presentation, translation, commentary and lessons<br />
<strong>the</strong>rein.<br />
2.0 OBJECTIVES<br />
At <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> this unit, you should be able to:<br />
• read all <strong>the</strong> hadith texts fluently<br />
• translate <strong>the</strong>m into English language<br />
• discuss <strong>the</strong> commentary extensively<br />
• give <strong>the</strong> moral lessons contained <strong>the</strong>rein<br />
• describe <strong>the</strong> uniqueness <strong>of</strong> each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m.<br />
