1.0 INTRODUCTION
Hadiths 24 and 25 are the two apostolic traditions to be discussed in this
unit. The 24 th hadith is a hadith Qudsiy related by the prophet of Allah.
It stresses the fact that Almighty Allah is the source of all happenings in
life. The 25 th hadith emphasises that charity is not necessarily meant to
be valued in monetary term. A study of these hadith shall still follow the
usual pattern i.e. Arabic text, translation, commentary and lessons.
2.0 OBJECTIVES
At the end of this unit, you should be able to:
• read all the hadith fluently
• translate them into English language
• discuss the commentary extensively
• give the moral lessons contained therein
• describe the uniqueness of each of them.
