1.0 INTRODUCTION<br />
This unit comprises <strong>of</strong> three hadith texts which are hadiths 21, 22 and<br />
23. <strong>Hadith</strong> 21 deals with faith in Allah and standing firmly on that faith.<br />
<strong>Hadith</strong> 22 speaks on some aspects <strong>of</strong> Ibādah while hadith 23 stresses <strong>the</strong><br />
importance <strong>of</strong> purification, supplications and aims. Discourse will<br />
follow <strong>the</strong> traditional method involving <strong>the</strong> text, translation,<br />
commentary and lessons.<br />
2.0 OBJECTIVES<br />
At <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> this unit, you should be able to:<br />
• read all <strong>the</strong> hadith texts fluently<br />
• translate <strong>the</strong>m into English<br />
• discuss <strong>the</strong>ir commentaries extensively<br />
• give <strong>the</strong> moral lessons contained <strong>the</strong>rein<br />
• describe <strong>the</strong> uniqueness <strong>of</strong> each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m.<br />
