ISL222 TEXTUAL STUDIES OF THE HADITH<br />
• Man, Jinn and <strong>of</strong> course all o<strong>the</strong>r creatures <strong>of</strong> Allah depend on<br />
Him for all <strong>the</strong>ir needs irrespective <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir social status.<br />
• He (Allah) finally says that man shall be rewarded on account <strong>of</strong><br />
his work.<br />
• <strong>Hadith</strong> 25 relates <strong>the</strong> complaint lodged by some companions <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> prophet.<br />
• According to <strong>the</strong>m, <strong>the</strong> wealth <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> rich spent in charity would<br />
give <strong>the</strong>m more reward than <strong>the</strong> poor over <strong>the</strong> poor.<br />
• The prophet assured <strong>the</strong>m that, reward is not determined by<br />
wealth alone but also by act <strong>of</strong> supplication and good deeds.<br />
