<strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong>, New <strong>Jersey</strong> 07306 referred to as the Grantor.<br />

CITY OF JERSEY CITY<br />
a municipal corporation ofthe State of New <strong>Jersey</strong> whose post offce address is <strong>City</strong> Han, 280 Grove Street,<br />
<strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong>, New <strong>Jersey</strong> 07302 referred to as the Grantee. The words "Grantor" and "Grantee" shan mean<br />
all Grators and all Grantees listed above.<br />
RECITALS<br />
WHREAS, Grantor is the owner of certain land and prenuses located in the <strong>City</strong> of <strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong>,<br />
County of Hudson and State of New <strong>Jersey</strong> identified below (the "Propef");and<br />
WHREAS, Grantor is desirous of dedicating certain portions of the aforesaid Propert to the Grantee<br />
for use as public streets and rights-of-way;<br />
WREREAS, while Grantor's offer of dedication was pending before the appropriate governing body<br />
of Grantee, Grantor conveyed a number of subdivided parcels of land (of which the aforesaid Propert<br />
constitutes a part) to third parties;<br />
WHEREAS, each of the aforesaid conveyances were accomplished though deeds containing Powers<br />
of Attorney to Grantor to dedicate the Propert to the Grantee subsequent to the aforesaid tnnsfers;<br />
WHREAS, Grantor entered into a certain Reciprocal Easement Agreement dated September 28,<br />
2001 and recorded in the Offce of the RegisterofHudson County on September 28, 200 i in Deed Book<br />
5874 at Page 299 et seq. which Reciprocal EasementAgreement provided for temporai- access rights to the<br />
public and others which rights shall terminate upon the reèord~tion of this Deed;<br />
WHEREAS, the Grantee adopted a certin Ordinance No. 02-004 on January 23,2002, authorizing<br />
the acceptance of the subject propert for dedication;<br />
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:<br />
Transfer of Ownership. The Grantor grnts and conveys (transfers ownership of) the' property<br />
describ~d below to the Grantee~ This trsfer is made for the sum of $1.00 and other good and valuable<br />
consideration the receipt and suffciency of which is hereby acknowledged.<br />
Tax Map Reference. (N.J.S.A. 46: 15-1.) Municipality of <strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong>, Block 1253, part of Lots 1-6,<br />
62-81 and "s" (formed~ Block No 1253, part of Lots 14, 15, 16A, 17 A, 18-47 and "S"); and Block 1254,<br />
part of Lots 40-79 and 1òt "S" (formerly Block 1254, part of Lots A1,5-39 and "S"). ;'<br />
Property. The propel consists of the land in the <strong>City</strong> of <strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong>, County of Hudson and State<br />
ofNew<strong>Jersey</strong> identified as 'ROAD "A"" and "PREVIOUSLY VACATED PORTION OF GATES AVE,"<br />
on Exhibit "An attched h reto and made a par hereof and also on those certin maps entitled "Parkside at<br />
Countr Villagelinal - ajor Subdivision Plat Section One (2 Sheets)" and "Parkside at Countr<br />
VilagelFinal Major Sub ivision Plat section 2 (1 sheet)", prepared by Gladstone Design; Inc., dated<br />
Februar 14,2000, lastre ised May 17,2000 and fied in the Hudson Count Register's Offce on September<br />
8,2000 as Map Nos. 375 and 3759 The legal description of the propert to be conveyed is attached hereto<br />
and made a part hereof Exhibit "8".<br />
