Book Overview and Other Resources Mobile Design and Administration Guide Accessing manuals and other documentation sources The manuals are available from your MicroStrategy disk or the machine where MicroStrategy was installed. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view these manuals. If you do not have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you can download it from http://get.adobe.com/reader/. The best place for all users to begin is with the MicroStrategy Basic Reporting Guide. To access the installed manuals and other documentation sources, see the following procedures: • To access installed manuals and other documentation sources on Windows, page xx • To access installed manuals and other documentation sources on UNIX and Linux, page xx To access installed manuals and other documentation sources on Windows 1 From the Windows Start menu, choose Programs (or All Programs), MicroStrategy, then Product Manuals. A page opens in your browser showing a list of available manuals in PDF format and other documentation sources. 2 Click the link for the desired manual or other documentation source. 3 If you click the link for the Narrowcast Services SDK Guide, a File Download dialog box opens. This documentation resource must be downloaded. Select Open this file from its current location, and click OK. If bookmarks are not visible on the left side of an Acrobat (PDF) manual, from the View menu click Bookmarks and Page. This step varies slightly depending on your version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
