placed on his arms and legs caused him<br />

discomfort to the point of sickness. A foul<br />

odor permeated his nostrils. Joseph asked him<br />

questions, but Godfrey would refuse to tell investigators<br />

what they were. The alien indicated<br />

that they had met before, apparently<br />

when Godfrey was a child.<br />

A.M., he and a girlfriend stopped their car<br />

abruptly when a woman and a dog stepped<br />

out in front of them. Certain that he had hit<br />

the woman, he got out to help her, but there<br />

was no sign of her or the animal. When he got<br />

home, he found that two hours were missing<br />

without explanation. Another incident—his<br />

seeing a ball of light in his room when he was<br />

a child—also seemed to him evidence that the<br />

1980 incident was not his first encounter with<br />
