inhabitants doe both for quantity and qaulitie according to their<br />

order and agreement & to pay rates for the said cows during<br />

the time <strong>of</strong> their going with the said heards.<br />

61y : It is also agreed and concluded upon by the inhabitants<br />

<strong>of</strong> each partie as aforesaid that the inhabitants <strong>of</strong> the new<br />

towne shall have their full proportion <strong>of</strong> all the common stock<br />

<strong>of</strong> ammunition and the drum which is in their p r sent possession<br />

and the inhabitants <strong>of</strong> the old town shall have their proportion<br />

<strong>of</strong> the said amunition and the new drum, as also the Colors.<br />

7th : It is further agreed and concluded by eache party that<br />

the said inhabitants <strong>of</strong> the new towne shall contribute to the<br />

mayntenance <strong>of</strong> the ministry <strong>of</strong> the old town untill such tyme<br />

as the said inhabitants <strong>of</strong> the new towne do call one to exer-<br />

cise among them in the work <strong>of</strong> the ministry, & allow him<br />

mayntenance from which time the said inhabitants shall be freed<br />

from contributing any longer towards the mayntenance <strong>of</strong> the<br />

ministry <strong>of</strong> the old towne as aforesaid.<br />

81y : Last <strong>of</strong> all it is fully concluded and agreed upon by<br />

the inhabitants <strong>of</strong> each towne that the said townes upon the<br />

assignment <strong>of</strong> the aforesaid articles <strong>of</strong> agreement shall bee abso-<br />

lutely dismist <strong>of</strong> themselves & have no farther to meddle with<br />

the affairs <strong>of</strong> each other in any towne matters whatsoever, in<br />

witness where<strong>of</strong> the inhabitants <strong>of</strong> each towne aforesaid have to<br />

these present articles <strong>of</strong> agreement enterchangably put to their<br />

hands the first <strong>of</strong> the third month one thousand six hundred<br />

fifty fower<br />
