BRITISH COLUMBIA The Department uses hospital pharmacies and laboratories in the conduct of clinical trials, as well as external pharmacies. The VIHA has a full research ethics board structure that oversees the process for getting trials approved (http://www.viha.ca/rnd/research_ethics) (see Appendix 4).
