Epidemiology <strong>and</strong> Surveillance Facilities<br />

B.C. is home to numerous epidemiologists who work in public/ population/ community/ environmental<br />

health. This <strong>Asset</strong> <strong>Map</strong> lists some of the researchers that combine epidemiology with new treatment<br />

options <strong>and</strong>/or interventions (lifestyle modification) in Appendix 6. In addition, a number of the Province’s<br />

health research centres have epidemiology or surveillance divisions. Thirteen of these are listed in<br />

Table 10; details can be found in Appendix 9 unless otherwise stated.<br />
