Canadian Pharmacogenomics Network for Drug Safety A joint initiative of POPi <strong>and</strong> CMMT (CFRI), Vancouver B.C. One of only two active adverse drug reaction (ADR) surveillance<br />

networks in the world. Brings together leading scientists from many disciplines within industry, government, universities,<br />

hospitals, <strong>and</strong> research institutes to better underst<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> prevent severe ADRs. Currently recruiting patients<br />

to a trial on adverse drug reactions in children (<strong>Clinical</strong><strong>Trials</strong>.gov identifier: NCT00414115) <strong>and</strong> adults in Canada, US,<br />

Mexico, Europe.<br />

North American organization of pediatric rheumatologists who are building a multi-centre network of pediatric rheumatology<br />

research centres across the continent that will work together on clinical trials <strong>and</strong> research. CFRI’s David Cabral<br />

perspective. The network is currently comprised of over 25 longitudinal studies on aging, spanning eight countries, with<br />

a combined sample size of approximately 70,000 individuals.<br />

Promotes study of diagnosis <strong>and</strong> treatment using light <strong>and</strong> photosensitizers, disseminates such information to members<br />

clinicians <strong>and</strong> scientists involved in performing <strong>and</strong> researching photodynamic therapy (PDT) <strong>and</strong> photodiagnosis (PD).<br />
