Obstetric Medicine Program
This program provides inpatient and outpatient consultative services to both high and low risk obstetrics
(http://www.bcwomens.ca/ForProfessionals/ClinicalPractice/SpecializedWomensHealth/
Obstetric+Medicine.htm). The active research program focuses on the hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
and diabetes.

Maternal Fetal Medicine Research Unit
The Maternal Fetal Medicine Research Unit (no URL) conducts trials on drug therapy, biomarkers, management
of labour and delivery, as well as conducting technology assessments. It is a member of the
North American Fetal Therapy Network (www.naftnet.org).
