Duplex Option 9-6 Duplex (Double Sided) printing can be performed automatically with the duplex option installed. See “Duplexing” on page 5-21. In order for the duplex option to be installed, either of the following must be installed on the printer. Tray 2 Attachment Duplex option If Tray 2 is installed, it is not necessary to install the attachment. In this case, skip “Installing the Attachment”, and continue with “Installing the Duplex Option” on page 9-8. Installing Attachment Attachment If the attachment is installed, the duplex option can be installed. (The attachment cannot be used by itself; it must be used together with the duplex option.)
